WHY MY WATER PRESSURE IS SLOW?

Image
There are many reasons why we could start to get less and less water pressure. Here are some of the reasons: Probably we have a water leak. How could I check if there is a water leak? Easy, if every faucet is off your water meter triangle spin should be still. If it is spinning around something is on or you have a leak. If you shut the house water valve off and is still spinning around then your leak is between the water meter and the shut-off valve (90% of this cases there is water in the yard). The worse case scenario is a leak under the slab.(Expensive and messy) Do you have a water softener or water filtration system in good condition or less than 8 years old? Try to bypass the system to check if the pressure goes back normal. Is just a faucet? Did you try to replace the faucet aerator? Sometimes it has scale build up and you have to replace it or clean it. Do you think your toilets work properly? Check for toilets running. Is the main shut off valve in good condition? S

DO YOU LIKE WILD ANIMALS?

Image
Animals are beautiful and necessary for our environment and the ecosystem equilibrium but for urban areas, it is a better idea keep them away. Recently I was in a customer house and the owner told me that they were without AC because of a disgusting animal death odor coming from the AC vent. There was a possum death above the AC duct. Other people have been bite by a wild animal and many of them could carry diseases. You could try to avoid that using these measurements: Protect your roof vent with a screen (but do not block the pipe, the pipe needs the breath). Cover or protect the basement windows, the attic windows, the fascia, any hole between the roof and the attic, The surroundings or entrances under the house or mobile home. If you already have an animal for example in your attic or under the house call a wildlife company to remove them before they get sick or die in there. Believe me, you do not want a dead animal in your attic it will damage your insulation,

PRESSURE WASHING QUICK TIPS AND TRICKS

Image
Almost every DIY loves pressure washing because the many uses it provides. Keep in mind also that for different jobs do you will need a different tip. But there are some tasks that are not convenient to do it with this wonderful tool for example: Do not use cleaning floor pavers because do you will need to apply sand to the joins again. Do not use cleaning roof tile or roof shingles. Do not apply too close to soft surfaces like cedarwood or painted surfaces. The best use of the tool is common sense.

IS YOUR TREE HELPFUL OR A PROBLEM?

Image
When you are planning to buy a house or you are planning to plant a tree keep in mind this advises: - Do not plant a tree or a plant close to the house, fence, or others property. - Big trees could be a problem for your sewer, septic tank in the future, or in states like Florida or Oklahoma a hurricane or a tornado can throw the tree against the house or the roof. - Some people say that trees and vine plants are natural insulation so you can save on AC bills but also you could have insects, lizards, etc on your walls.
